Just to see how they'd cope in the Doctor's World.
Imagine Columbo asking the Whoniverse villain "just one more thing" and squinting at them with his fake eye!

Gilligan and Mary Ann for me. Mind you, I've had them in the TARDIS in a couple of stories I've written

I'd like to see which tv/book character would be least suited to riding the TARDIS.
Columbo would be made short work of by most Whoniverse villains, for example. The only thing left would be his raincoat.

Steve Urkel The bad guys wouldn't need to kill him. The Doctor would probably end up shoving Steve out an airlock before long!

Winnie-the-Pooh exterminated by Daleks... only since he is stuffing, not organs, he doesn't die!

This brings back memories of that Red Dwarf episode with the wax droids, in which Lister saw Winnie the Pooh get executed!

MacGyver waving his Leatherman (old school) or SAK (modern version) around, but failing to escape because it doesn't have a green or blue glowing light on the end.

MacGyver could fix the TARDIS using a piece of gum and a bobby pin

If the Doctor met Bugs Bunny, he'd get Nardole to make rabbit stew within a few minutes.

How about Scotty as a Companion. "You canna do it, Doctor, you canna make the TARDIS go any faster!"
