Tonight's episode was definitely channeling the early Williams era. Satirical horror.

I enjoyed it- probably a little more than last week's episode.

From Wikipedia:
Okay, this is a base under siege story, something Who has done a lot of. However, I did like the twist that it was spacesuits, with a basic AI that was doing the invading.
This has echoes of the Alien movies, in that we have an evil Company that sees profit above all else. They don't care who dies, as long as that profit is made. However, from what the Doctor says at the end of the episode, the Company is eventually overthrown, so things work out well after all, in the long run.
I also got echoes of The Walking Dead, as the suits made the dead crew space zombies. The only difference is that these zombies are not going to eat you, just make you one of them.
How are into the future was this set? The episode never says.
Nardole mentions their "friend in the vault". Friend?
So their keeping the Doctor blind. Interesting. I wonder how long this will last?
